About the Authors

Hello! I live and work on the unceded territory of the Okanagan Syilx People.  I am 27 years old and currently reside in Kelowna, BC. The Masters of Educational Technology will be my third post-secondary degree, to completement my Bachelors of English and Bachelors of Education, all from UBC. I have been teaching for over four years, and specialize in intermediate elementary grades. 

I live, study, work, and play on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. I am a Grade 4/5 teacher in Vancouver and this is my tenth year of teaching.  I am passionate about STEAM education and inquiry-based learning. One of my goals as an educator is to intrinsically motivate students in learning  to perform at their best while encouraging continuous learning and curiosity.
