Communities across British Columbia continue to invest in safer walking, cycling, and micromobility infrastructure. Since 2017, the Province has supported more than 400 active transportation projects, investing nearly $130 million to improve opportunities for active travel. As transportation options continue to evolve, there is a growing need to prepare students with the knowledge and skills to use them safely and confidently.
