A simple question changed everything....

As an elementary teacher and parent living in British Columbia, I have watched active transportation evolve rapidly. Bicycles are now joined by e-bikes, e-scooters, and other forms of micromobility, while communities continue to expand cycling infrastructure and encourage sustainable transportation. Yet I found myself asking an increasingly important question: Where are students learning how to navigate this changing environment safely and confidently?

The more I explored the issue, the more I realized that many families, educators, and communities are working toward the same goal, but often with different resources, expectations, and messages. That inconsistency inspired the idea for RideReady.
