Though career advising has been around for a long time, it wasn't always working properly. Additionally, most career advising is done individually with a career coach or counsellor and can cost anywhere between $125 to $250 an hour (Bark, 2021). One career counsellor I found in BC specifically cost $140 for a 50 minute session (Donovan, n.d.). With the technological advancement and the introduction of AI and machine learning in this industry, there are many benefits to run and use career counselling services digitally:
