In 2022 Laramie Woman's Club members were busy quilting yellow and blue quilt squares in support of a Piece for Peace project in Germany.  Squares were sent there to be made into quilts for the child refugees from Ukraine that had been forced to leave their country with nothing.  These quilts were designed to remind them of their homeland.  Our ladies raised money to ship the squares over seas as well as to assist with the costs there for backing, batting and thread to put the quilts together.  Claudia thought she would be able to make a five quilts but the world caught on and her group within a few months she had enough blocks to make over 1000 quilts.  Our women sent over 429 squares, enough to make 20 quilts!
