I started this project in January, 2019 for my Composition 101 class, I worked by myself and as a group, and both ways were fun and interesting. My project mainly focuses on a theme called " Turn to Face the Stranger; it starts with the stranger in you, the stranger you think you know very well, but when you try to ask yourself who you really are, the question sounds simple, right ? but in reality the answer is far from simple because we live our whole life trying to find ourselves, and learn from our experiences, so we are constantly changing. After facing the stranger in me, I had to face the stranger in others, what makes us different, and what divides us, how do others think, and act. I know for sure that if we stay in our bubble and comfort zone, good things will never come to us. The last topic we had in this course was about empathy during what we are going through right now as of May,2020. We are dealing with an ongoing pandemic since March 11, 2020 because of an outbreak of COVID-19, so I feel like the structure of this course prepared us to deal with this issue with maturity, and empathy, and put ourselves in other people's shoes, feel their hardships, and pain, and stay together because we are all in this together.
