My Grading Policies
This is a Pass / No Pass Course. You will not earn a letter grade at the end.
The purpose of this course is to help you learn and improve. Thus, all tasks in this course will be graded as complete or incomplete. If you receive an incomplete on an assignment, please redo it, so you can learn and improve.
Students who satisfactorily complete at least 70% of the tasks in this course AND take the final exam will receive a passing score in this class.

Canvas Grades
Canvas Grades
All of your grades and my feedback can be found in Canvas. When you're in our Canvas course, you can click on "Grades" in the navigation menu. This will take you to our grades dashboard.
Pay close attention to the feedback I give you on your assignments. This is an essential part of learning and improving. I will give you feedback in various ways using Canvas. Read below and then watch the video to learn how to find your grades and my feedback.
As Comments: I will leave my own comments on most of your assignments when I grade them. You can reply to these comments; however, sometimes the notification for your reply gets buried in my email, so if you have something important you want to talk about with me, please send me an email or join my office hours.
Uploaded Attachment: For assignments where I'm providing written corrections or suggestions, I will attach a file of your assignment with my handwritten comments/corrections. It's essential for your learning that you download and carefully review/analyze my comments to help you learn how you can improve.
Rubric: All formal written assignments will have rubrics that I will use to score your assignments. Always check the scored rubrics, so you can see what your strengths and areas for improvement were.
