Noema is responsible for managing the registration data of the participants in compliance with current legislation.

Early Career Grants

The ESHS offers Early Career Grants for PhD students, post-docs or junior scholars (with a maximum of 3 years after completion of PhD) presenting a paper at Bologna 2020 Conference (in a symposium or in a session).

Preference is given to those delivering an individual paper. If delivering a joint paper, the grantee has to be the sole speaker.

This year, as Bologna 2020 Conference is taking place virtually, the grant consists of a waiver of the conference registration fee.

Submission of applications for Early Career Grants will open on 5 June 2020 and close on 20 June 2020.

Applications should be sent by email to ESHS Secretary Simone Turchetti (simone.turchetti@manchester.ac.uk) and should include:

- Short CV (maximum 500 words) with an indication of date of PhD.

- Confirmation of acceptance and title of talk to be presented at Bologna 2020.

- Short justification on reasons behind application, including a statement that the applicant has no other sources of financial support.

The recepients of Early Career Grants will be notified on 30 June 2020.
