Leo S. Olschki Publishing House - 1886
Founded on 1st March, 1886, at Verona by Leo Samuel Olschki as «Libreria Antiquaria Editrice», the firm moved to Venice in 1890 and then, in 1897, to Florence. Following a lenghty tradition the activity stands out in the field of humanities in the broadest sense of the word. It is one of the very rare examples of an editorial management which has remained for more than a century in the same family.
We currently have three book series entirely dedicated to the history of science, Biblioteca di «Nuncius» (Istituto e Museo di Storia della Scienza - Firenze), Biblioteca di «Galilaeana» and Biblioteca di Storia della Scienza. You can find details of our discounted titles at this link.
