Your task is to investigate the following:
What were compasses used for?
Why did the use of papermaking and gunpowder spread around the world so quickly?
What did Chinese people write on and how was it made?
Do some research to find out what the Earthquake Detector was that was invented in 132 CE.

Research what types of games were invented in Ancient China. Are there similar games being played today? List these.
Now, your group needs to re-create one of these games and be able to play it and explain this to the other students so they can understand the rules and play it.
OR get creative and see if you can make your own paper!
If you choose this, let me your teacher know as we need to bring a blender in! Otherwise, attempt it at home.
