From January 27th to February 5th, 2017, students from the five countries participacing in the ERASMUS+ PROJECT "REPORTERS WITHOUT FRONTIERS" met in Córdoba (Spain), at IES “Ángel de Saavedra”, to work on the topics and the interviews about:
This is the PROGRAMME of this visit. And a brief account of what we have done during our visit.
Friday, 27th January - Late in the evening, arrival of the French, German and Islander delegations. Teachers stayed at hotel, students were hosted by families.
Saturday, 28th January - Guided visit around the city: Mosque, Alcázar, Jewish quarter, Roman bridge, Roman and Arab Walls, Old Romanic Churches, Calahorra tower…
Sunday, 29th January - Visit to Medina Azahara, the old Arab city in Córdoba, and tour through the modern city.
Monday, 30th January
Working at Spanish school: School presentations,Travel books´presentations and groups organization in order to prepare the interviews on the topics that they will carry on during the rest ofthe week. Opening conference by Esteban Pérez, a teacher of the History Department, “The EU building process”.
The school is the only one in Córdoba that provides vocational training, in Communication, Image and Sound. So that, to finish, we were guided through the school and classrooms and visited the TV and Radio studios so that students could practise to record and broadcast radio and TV programmes.
Tuesday, 31st January
Students worked in groups preparing the different interviews for several people and institutions related to the five topics in our Erasmus+ project Then the Refugees group met representatives from the Red Cross, the EU and Ethics and Politics groups have met Alberto de los Ríos member of the Town Council for the leftist coalition Ganemos, the Sustainable Development and Environmental problems groups have visited SADECO and COSMOS.
