As part of a collaborative project with my classmates, I developed an SAE for All implementation plan that outlines strategies to engage every student in meaningful Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs) within the classroom. This plan includes methods for integrating SAEs into the curriculum, along with clear assessment tools and grading criteria to ensure accountability and student growth. In conjunction with this project, I also completed the SAE for All certification, demonstrating my readiness to implement inclusive and effective SAE programs. Both my certification and implementation plan are attached for reference and showcase my commitment to experiential learning and student success in agricultural education.
The Work-Based Learning (WBL) Safety and Legal Plan outlines my approach to implementing WBL opportunities within my program. This plan ensures that students gain valuable real-world experience through safe and structured job site placements. As part of the process, students, along with their parents, employers, teachers or WBL directors, and administration, will be required to sign a contract that clearly defines expectations and responsibilities, promoting accountability on all sides. Additionally, the supervising teacher or WBL director will schedule regular meetings with employers and conduct monthly site visits to monitor student progress, maintain safety standards, and ensure the overall success of the WBL experience. This comprehensive plan is designed to provide students with meaningful work experience while maintaining a strong focus on safety, professional development, and educational growth.
