On 19 the April the students and teachers taking part in Erasmus program in Puławy visied a small town Kazimierz Dolny, which is close to our town. All partners, students and teachers not only visited this famous, well-known town but also took part in the workshop in Bakery. PIEKARNIA SARZYŃSKI is an integral part of every visit to Kazimierz Dolny. Founded by Master Baker Cezary Sarzyński, it is a continuation of hundred-year-old family traditions.
From the interior of a beautiful tenement house on Nadrzeczna Street, the smell of fresh, crusty bread, delicious dumplings and the world-famous butter roosters can be heard from a kilometer away. Tired and hungry hikers will be welcomed by a warm atmosphere, cozy interior and selected bread accompanied by aromatic coffee or tea. Students took part in the workshop where they had the opportunity to learn how this local business was created and how bread is produced. What is more they also had the opportunity to make their own rooster out of dough. It was a very interesting trip, participants met local successful entrepreneurs.
On 20th April students taking part in mobility in Poland took part in the workshop – Enterpreneurship which took place at our school. The workshop was prepared by Centrum Kopmetencji Cyfrowych – Edukacja 3.0. The owner Marcin Wolski is an IT specialist and entrepreneur.
During the workshops, students learned what entrepreneurship is and what to do to be successful. They learned that entrepreneurship means the ability to improve one's own ideas and striving to find the best solution to a given situation. They saw that entrepreneurship means being self-employed or being successful in business. The students listened to the lecture and had the opportunity to work in groups. While working in a group, students learned responsibility by dividing tasks and responsibilities among individual group members.
They learned how to prepare a business plan. A document that defines in detail a company's objectives and how it plans to achieve its goals. The workshops certainly brought students closer to being good entrepreneurs in the future.
