"Technology in Education"

The topic of the project week in Sandnes was "Technology in Education". Our students worked with different digital tools that can also be used in school. The focus of the project week was Artificial Intelligence. The students discussed the possibilities this new technology brings to education but they were also encouraged to think about the risks that AI could pose for our society.

Getting to know each other

Ice breaker games
Presentation of the schools and the home countries of the participating students
Visits of classes as "Erasmus+ ambassadors"
Tour of the school with student guides
Farewell party

Workshops about the use of digital technology in education

Presentation by the students about how technology is used to enhance education at their school
Workshops at the local science museum (Vitenfabrikken): construction and programming of soccer robots, construction of Lego bridges
Different workshops about AI in education:
- Digital storytelling
- ARTificial intelligenc: doing artwork about AI using old laptops
- Video podcast: Discussing AI in education
