On the first day of the 🇪🇺 international meeting, foreign guests toured our school. After being welcomed by the headmaster, each school gave a presentation about their country, their city and their school. The students spent the afternoon with their host families, and in the evening they all gathered at the National Sports Center, where they played familiarization and team games. 🙂

The second project day was spent by foreign students with their teachers at our school. In the morning, they participated in English and ICT classes and worked on their digital business cards in workshops. After lunch in the school cafeteria, they played table football and participated in a table tennis tournament. They spent the evening bowling together with our students. 🙂

On the third day of the project, foreign and our students got to know the beauty of Haná. They toured the Mladečské caves and visited the fairytale Bouzov castle. For lunch, they were invited to the country pub U čarodějnice in Ludéřov, where they tasted a Czech specialty for the first time in their lives - sirloin steak with cream. 😋In Ludéřov, they toured the renovated baroque granary, where they were enthralled by the exhibition of everyday objects used in the last and the century before last. After returning from the trip, they played in the international rally teams in the center of Prostějov. In the evening, they met at the NSC, where a folklore program was prepared for them with Hana songs, dances and a demonstration of Hana costumes. 👍

The fourth project day started at the town hall, where the mayor František Jura and his deputy Jan Krchňavý welcomed the participants in the ceremonial hall. An ascent to the town hall tower was prepared for foreign guests. After that, everyone moved to Olomouc, where they took part in a guided tour of the city center and visited the Fortress of Knowledge. School manager Silvie Šteigerlová and school director Marek Moudrý came to greet the participants of the project at the NSC, and at the same time they were presented with participation certificates by the main project coordinator Jana Mohrová. In the evening, a banquet was prepared for everyone, as well as a final party, which the participants had a great time! 👍

On the fifth day, participants of the Smart School project met at NSC Prostějov, where they participated in physical education classes. Students played sports games and a mini volleyball tournament. Everyone then presented their personal business card, which they prepared as part of the workshops in the ICT class. In international teams, they played integration and team games, then again in teams to test their strength in the Hunt Game, which tested knowledge of the traditions and customs of all participating countries. In the afternoon, the project participants traveled by train to Prague, where they went for an evening walk to see the beauties of our capital. 👍

The participants spent the final project day in Prague. First, they visited the Interactive Film Museum, where they learned about the production of animated films and tried animation themselves. After lunch, our students prepared a guided tour for their guests, which we ended at Prague Castle. Saying goodbye to foreign guests was not without tears, because we became friends with them and discovered a lot in common. We are already looking forward to the autumn meeting in Turkey! 👍
