Equity Matters mission is to enlist various perspectives, topics, and pedagogies to be used to create a catalogue of workshops created and presented by educators, for educators. It's an interdisciplinary approach to student-centered content that addresses equity in ways that inspires, educates, and equips its participants with knowledge and tools to enhance transformative experiences in their respective educational spaces. Workshops reflect the results of research, professional practice, or educational experiences that promote multicultural/anti-racist education, abolitionist teaching, social justice awareness, and culturally responsive teaching as they relate to equity, student achievement, identity, and activism.
