The mission of EQUIP Rehabilitation is to provide a platform for Quinnipiac University students to collaborate and provide high quality compassionate care while working to improve health in the greater New Haven community.
At EQUIP, we encourage Quinnipiac graduates to foster altruistic values, while thinking critically and creatively as they embark on their careers. Our student-led clinic seeks to reduce health disparities by providing pro bono treatment services, community-based wellness initiatives, and education to the underserved population of the greater New Haven community.
“Physical therapists examine each individual and develop a plan, using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. Physical therapists work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles.” (APTA)
