Sophia Carey
Hi everyone! My name is Sophia Carey and I am the Student Vice President for the European PTSA. I'm currently located at Ramstein and am attending Ramstein High School as an 11th grader. Some things to know about me include my love for reading, writing, baking, and debate. I’ll also be taking the position of debate club president and Model United Nations student representative at my school this year. I’m so excited to help students through the upcoming school year. I want to help further connect students to their local PTSA and grow student engagement. I also have plans on implementing a student representative program to help put students in prominent positions on local PTSA boards. This is going to be a great year and I can’t wait to get started.

Hello everybody! I live in Brussels, Belgium, and attend Brussels Unit School and will be entering 10th grade. I’m a competitive swimmer and I also participate in activities like Model UN, debate, and Model Senate. In my spare time, I love to read books and drink coffee. I could not be more excited to be joining the board this year and I have some great ideas that I would like to work on implementing. I would like to place a specific focus on expanding student opportunities that many children in the US have access to as well as informing students about these opportunities. I just know that this will be an amazing school year and I look forward to working with the EPTSA!
