Scholarships

The European PTSA is offering scholarships for military children with an essay (max.500 words) competition titled (choose one)

"I'm a military child..."

 or

  "If you were given the chance to give a speech in front of the entire world, what would you advocate for and why?”

Here are the details:

1st Place Winner: Will receive the European PTSA Scholarship worth $1,000.

2nd Place Winner: Will receive the Sophia Carey Scholarship worth $500.

Each applicant must have the following completed components on file with European PTSA by April 1, 2025:

• Essay 

• One (1) Transcript

• Two (2) Reference Forms

• One (1) Verification of PTA/PTSA Membership Form (student or parent/guardian/family)

CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY:

Eligible scholarship applicants must:

• Be a DoDEA-Europe or DoDEA-Europe-eligible graduating senior in the 2024-25 school year

•  Have applied to an institution of higher learning for academic year 2024-25

• Be verified members of a PTA or PTSA in Europe (Membership can be through a local PTA unit or through European PTSA, if parent/guardian membership acceptable too).
