The EPS Program, along with the Metro Writing Studio and Academic Resource Center, will be offering tutoring and workshop opportunities in person, and via Zoom. All other approved workshops appear on the EPS Academic Support Calendar below, with information where and how to attend.
If an event title contains a -W, that event is a workshop, and counts for workshop minutes. Example: "MWS-W: Introduction to APA Format."
Students must follow the individualized guidelines for registration listed under each calendar event. All recorded time will be processed by the EPS Office.
Students will not receive any EPS Credit for tutoring done through the SmartThinking Online tutoring platform currently offered by the University (or any other platforms that are not directed through and approved by the EPS Office).
Available workshops will continue to be posted to our EPS Academic Support Calendar below, with guidelines for registration in each workshop opportunity.
Please note: Except for Metro Writing Studio workshops and EPS only workshops on APA Format, students will only receive credit for attending unique sessions. If the same session occurs twice, or three times, you will only get credit for the first time that you attended the session.
Example: The Metro Library runs the same workshop, 'Online Library Workshop: Research Basics for Undergraduate EPS Students' 3 times this semester. If you attend all 3, you will only gain credit for one.
All forms and time must be sent and processed by the department / facilitator holding the workshop or tutoring session. No forms or time submitted by students will be accepted.
Students must follow the guidelines for registration as indicated by the departments offering Academic Support.

We suggest using a Time Converter (like the one linked here) to ensure that you are attending your sessions on time.
