This page is to reflect on some technical skills I learned this semester in CSIT.
I was relieved to learn plenty about properly operating Microsoft Word. Learning how to organize writing hierarchy to convey information more clearly and more easily edit drafts has given me more confidence in my writing. I also found it incredibly neat the referencing ability of the software. I did not know you could enter a bibliography and cite with a couple of clicks. This has encouraged me to poke around more programs. I feel I have a better understanding what to look for.
Coming from a mostly Chromebook experience, this class has given me a deeper appreciate for the desktop at my disposal. Throughout the continuation of my studies I am excited to see what other software I will be learning and exploring with.
