A young, ambitious fund manager tries to navigation the choppy waters of the London Stock Exchange and his intense personal life. He hopes to help alert small investors to the dangers of certain companies listed on the Stock Exchange by writing what he was promised would be an anonymous article for a leading investment publication in which he criticises what he felt was the cynical approach of the City establishment.
Then he is shocked to hear that the article is published with full disclosure of his name and his employers. Events move rapidly as his personal and work life are on a collission course for disaster and he is left much chastened in an altogether different version of his life in a very short space of time.

Sean wants to do the right thing by his wife, his young son and even his grandad, who the nursing home can no longer cope with. However Sean's daily life is increasingly ambushed by traumatic events that happened in his past, without warning vivid memories flood his present making it hard for him to function.
Things come to a head one stormy night when the accumulation of problems in many aspects of his life overwhelm him and his reality comes crashing in on top of him with unexpected results.
