Worship is the center of our church life as we praise God within the gathered fellowship at Wesley; filling our hearts with God's call to love, and we go into the world striving to share that love with all peoples, through our words and actions.
Wesley offers the following Sunday worship options to receive the Word of God, with Holy Communion offered on the 1st Sunday of each month:
8:30am ~ Traditional Service at Chapel (or Worship Center during snow season). Our organist, Alice, leads us in hymns of praise and worship. (*All 5th Sundays we move this worship to a 10:30 combined service on Justice Way)
10:30am ~ Praise Worship at Worship Center with music from our live praise band and projection technology to follow along easily. Our Kids 4 Christ children's time is offered most Sundays during the sermon portion of this service. We also offer Safe Sanctuary Nursery (click link to help)for our little ones that would like to have some fun while the adults are in worship.
*All occurring 5th Sundays we combine our two worship services into one blended service held on Justice Way at 10:30am. We join together in fellowship for a covered dish meal afterwards.
Annual Special Riverfront Worship is normally the 2nd Sunday in August at 10:00am. We combine again and move our worship to Elkmore Park followed by a cardboard boat race and annual fellowship summer picnic.
What does worship mean to you?
Center one's self and commune with God. It means joy, cleansing, praise through song, and fellowship.
People wonder what they are they getting out of church. Worship is tears of joy. Worship is bringing what I have to God.
It's a very personal thing. Everyone has their way of worshiping.
