Overview

The City of Marietta has experienced incredible growth and progress since the original Envision LCI was completed in 2001. The purpose of this study is to create an updated plan that addresses current conditions within the downtown and in town areas, and builds from the successes of the Central Business District and surrounding neighborhoods to provide improved connectivity and to identify catalytic redevelopment opportunities, including affordable housing and neighborhood services, specifically along key corridors.

What is a Livable Centers Initiative (LCI) Study?

The Livable Centers Initiative (LCI) is a program of the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) that awards planning grants on a competitive basis to local governments and nonprofit organizations for the enhancement of existing centers and corridors consistent with regional development policies.
