Community Meetings

A key component of this process is public engagement. The public will have three opportunities throughout this process to provide input and feedback during the master plan development process.

Community Meeting 1: Project Kick-Off

January 26, 2019; 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Location: Marietta Square Farmers' Market, 65 Church Street, Marietta, GA 30060

*In case of rain, the location will be moved to the Marietta Museum of History, 1 Depot Street, Marietta, GA 30060

Come join us at a fun-filled, interactive booth at the Marietta Square Farmers' Market. Community members will be introduced to the project process and focus and asked to provide feedback on what they would like to preserve, change, create, and connect within the LCI study area.

Please note: This meeting was originally scheduled for December 7 at the Marietta Square and was rescheduled due to rain.

Community Meeting 2: Design Workshop

February 21, 2019; 6:00-7:30 pm

Location: Custer Park, 600 Kenneth E. Marcus Way, Marietta, GA 30060

During this session, community members will be led through a design workshop and facilitated discussion where project design concepts will be developed. Consultants will use the products of this event to refine the master plan and develop recommendations for the LCI Study Area.

Community Meeting 3: Draft Master Plan Review

April 26, 6:00-8:00 pm

Location: Glover Park Concert Series

At this final meeting, the draft master plan will be presented to participants for feedback and discussion to be incorporated into the final draft master plan. Our team will be set up at the City of Marietta booth.
