ENSURED - GOOD-TO-GO

While modern civilisation has been the prime driver behind climate change, all are now facing the impacts of it, with chemically poisoned water, infertile soil, and weather changes driving crop failures, leading to a food and potable water crisis, natural resource exploitation, large scale migration, inflation, global recession, job losses, and impending pandemics.

The question is not, when it will hit us, but who gets hit first. People already hovering around the lowest economic strata of our society, are the first ones to face the brunt, as without any economic protection, hope or skill to anchor to, they are the first ones to get swept by the Tsunami. And this comprises 70% of our population, who’s primary livelihood is farming. 

Although Governments and Organisations are working on it, their pace is not able to match the growing enormity of the situation. On one hand where they find it difficult to garner professionals from all streams, the potential and skill power of 36 crore citizens (30% of our population), has never been utilised for this. Still disconnected with the menacing reality, the breed of greed is killing the need to feed.

If you are a working / non-working Professional of any age from any Industry, and have the heart and wish to reach out and help underprivileged sections of society, by sharing your skills and knowledge with them, and get that ultimate satisfaction of seeing some smiles on weary faces, hopes in hopeless eyes, food in empty stomachs and a new zeal to live in given-up situations, you are good to go.

ENSURED - GOOD-TO-GO is an open source, co-owned, citizen based initiative, easily replicable anywhere, blended with regional and cultural practices, creating a web of collaborating citizens from all walks of life, across the country.

It does so, by creating a meaningful engagement between those who have their shining skills to share, and those who need the skills to come out of deep poverty and dependency, without any ego or expectations.

ENSURED - GOOD-TO-GO is trying to bring the modern society that has participated directly or indirectly in creating climate change, to come out and save those on the fringes, who are forced to face the first impact of its deeds?
