Who we are

It all started during the Covid pandemic, when every family was affected. With death and despair all around, all hopes of a future were shattered. While Governments played mute spectators, schools and offices were closed, jobs were lost, businesses crashed, and families slept on the roads. But amidst all these, a good number of selfless souls came out of their comfort zones in great numbers, to help the helpless, and feed the hungry. Where the selfish Governments had failed, these selfless Citizens brought a ray of hope, and pulled back the devastated and deprived ones from shreds.

This incident sparked off the thought that if selfless Citizens can save so many lives without any Government support, can't they together build the nation too? While meditating in his backyard after the pandemic, Ashoka Fellow Pradeep Ghosh pondered on how to retain the momentum of this selfless act. Then as he watched animals, birds, insects, trees, breeze and water play the philharmonic orchestra of nature together, he visualised a network of good souls playing the harmony of humanity.

And thus the idea of ENSURED - GOOD-TO-GO was born.

Sharing his raw idea with a select group of critics, helped him look at the idea from the perspectives of multiple stakeholders. The network design evolved out of this, with every stakeholder equally involved and co-owning the network. The entire project was designed as open source, with any organisation leading it in any city, so that more and more citizens participate freely across the network. A cross evaluating and auto filter mechanism has been built in as well, to keep off selfish opportunists and wrong intent guys. The objective is to create a selfless Citizens' network that is trustworthy and gets civic recognition.
