These are offered freely and are priceless. When you attend a meeting your donations at the meeting support the continued offering of the Buddha's teachings. Zoom sessions are possible by having a paid Zoom account. Currently all sessions are offered on Zoom.
Rent for our Thursday night meeting space when we can again meet in person. (Richard and Adrienne generously open their space to us at Katonah Healing Arts on Sundays on a dāna basis.)
There are other operating expenses incurred including expenses for Day Long Retreats which are offered periodically throughout the year.
There are many ways we come together as a community to support each other. One of them is financially. Thank you to everyone who contributes financially.
Other ways of supporting community include bringing flowers for the altar, tidying up before and after sits, setting up before each sitting, putting cushions away after each sitting, and of course, by our presence at each sitting. In a community like ours those who have access to more financial resources can help to support those who do not. So if you can contribute more, please consider doing so. Please know that if a $65-$90 contribution at this time is prohibitive, any contribution (financial or otherwise) is welcome and most appreciated.
