Behavioral Economics Institute
The Behavioral Economics Institute (BEI) or Instituto de Economía del Comportamiento (IEC) is a new research center launched at the Universidad Europa. At the BEI we focus on understanding human behavior within societies, markets and organizations, with the explicit purpose of designing and evaluating policy interventions inspired by behavioral science. Faculty from the Universidad Europea and other international Research Centers work at BEI to explore how individuals make decisions and how to help them making better choices in a sustainable and cost-effective way.
As part of their activities, the BEI organizes Workshops in Behavioral Economics at the Europea (WoBE@E), one per term, and one large conference every year. In 2024, we organized a one day workshop on Behavioral political science, and we will be organizing one in Behavior and Health on November 13th and one in Behavior and Governance on December 18th to 20th in Valencia. In 2025, we plan to organize on on Sustainable behavior (late winter). We will host the International Meeting in Experimental and Behavioral Social Sciences (IMEBESS) in Valencia in the spring.
You will find more information about the BEI and its members here soon. Stay tuned!!
