Balance the skills, abilities, and difficulty of the game
Balance the different characters and their attacks
Design and pitch new enemies and bosses
QA and report bugs for the programmers
Check the overall damage and health of the enemies and adjust it, depending on the attack pattern and the role they played while attacking (sniper, tank, ...)
Modify the chance of spawn of epic skills and other elements so the game presents a good sense of randomness and feels rewarding.
Update each enemy's cost to check how many of them can appear per room. This was also done by checking how many points the game had for each world.
Check and modify the different currencies (Cells and DNA) so the player can buy some useful things at each shop.
Update the rewards per room, allowing the player to unlock permanent upgrades, but without reducing the time needed to complete the game.
Modify, using Unity's Data system the different prices that the skills and permanent unlocks had.
Design new enemies for the third and fourth world.
Design different attack patterns, making sure that the enemy can deflect or dash the different bullets.
Pitch the different enemies to the lead designer of the team. Understand the problems and iterate with the received feedback.
Set damage, health, and attack speed values for each of the new enemies. Test them and iterate using the data from the game.
