              Worshipful Brother Robert Herd

Worshipful Brother Robert Herd is a Founding and Charter Member of Enlightenment Lodge 198, a Traditional Observance lodge in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 2012 he served as Grand Orator for the Grand Lodge of Colorado. He is a Past Master of Tejon Lodge 104 in Colorado Springs, and for several years was also an Associate Member of Lodge of Living Stones #4957 in Leeds England founded by W.L. Wilmshurst. WB Herd is a Past District Grand Lodge Lecturer for the greater Colorado Springs area, and served two years as the Membership Committee Chairman for the state of Colorado. 

Other esoteric orders WB Herd belongs to include the Martinist order, where he serves as the Grand Delegate for North America. In 2012, he published The Initiatic Experience: Ancient Pathways that Led to Your Initiation into Freemasonry.

Right Worshipful Brother Jerry Underwood began his Masonic journey at Ramah Lodge #165, Ramah, Colorado in November, 2009. After being Raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason in March, 2010, he petitioned for the degrees of Scottish Rite.  Coroneted a 33°, Inspector General Honorary in 2021, RWB Jerry is Past Venerable Master of the Lodge of Perfection, and currently serves as the Director General for the Southern Colorado Consistory.  He is also a member of the Scottish Rite Research Society. 

RWB Jerry is also very active in the York Rite. He is a Past Excellent High Priest, Past Thrice Illustrious Master, and Past Commander of the Colorado Springs York Rite Bodies.  He is currently appointed the Grand Master of the Third Veil for the Most Excellent Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons for Colorado. In 2017, RWB Jerry was inducted the Royal Order of Scotland and is a member of Gofannin Council #315, Allied Masonic Degrees.  

RWB Jerry’s principle areas of research include Pythagoreanism, Rosicrucian Doctrine, Templarism, Illuminism, Kabbalah, Alchemy, and Gnostic Christianity.  In 2013, RWB Jerry published his graduate Thesis entitled:  “The Silent Revolution: Exploring the Rise of Secret Societies in 18th Century Europe and their Influence on Colonial American Government” at Regis University, Denver.  

In 2018, RWB Jerry was honored as Worshipful Master of the Year for Colorado and      he is currently serving as the Junior Grand Warden for the Grand Lodge of Colorado. RWB Jerry  has been a member of Enlightenment Lodge #198 since September, 2010.



Most Worshipful Brother David Coberly

Most Worshipful Brother David L. Coberly was born July 10, 1956 in Cortez, Colorado. After graduating from High School in Rocky Ford, he attended and graduated from Adams State College in Alamosa with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry. During his time in college he became interested in working with computers and computer programming and took a programming job in Pueblo, where he became acquainted with the Pueblo Masons through his involvement with DeMolay - an organization he had been involved with since early High School.  

In 1977 MWB David Coberly was Initiated, Passed, and Raised in Silver State Lodge #95 in Pueblo, Colorado, where he served as Worshipful Master in 1984. He married his wife of Jean in 1987 and that same year took a position teaching Computer Science at Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colorado. He and his wife lived in La Junta for almost 30 years.  They have a son, a daughter, and three grandchildren. While in La Junta, he earned a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Southern Colorado.

MWB David was a District Lecturer of several lodges in the Lower Arkansas Valley for more than 15 years. In 2009 he served as Grand Chaplain for the Grand Lodge of Colorado. He retired from teaching in 2013 shortly after starting his time in the progressive Grand Lodge line, being appointed as the Grand Marshal of the Grand Lodge. He is a member of many Masonic groups including Scottish Rite and York Rite. Most Worshipful Brother David Coberly served as the Most Excellent Grand High Priest of Cryptic Masons in Colorado from 2017-2018, and the Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons for Colorado in 2020. 


Worshipful Brother Scott Casey

Worshipful Brother Scott Casey was Initiated, Passed, and Raised in Centurion Daylight Lodge #195, in Monument, Colorado. He affiliated with Enlightenment Lodge #198 in 2008, and served as its Worshipful Master in 2014 & 2015. Fully engaged as a Freemason, WB Scott is an active member of the Scottish Rite as well as the York Rite Chapter, Council and Commandery, and a Frater of the Societas Rosicruciana in Civitatibus Foederatis. His personal areas of interest include the studies of Gnosticism, Martinism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Hermeticism. He has also studied Kaballah at length with the Kaballah Centre.

Most Worshipful Brother Raymond H. Dunn, Jr.

Most Worshipful Brother Ray Dunn was Initiated, Passed and Raised in 1997 in Phoenix Lodge #8, Fayetteville, North Carolina. He is a member of Enlightenment Lodge #198, El Paso #13, and East Denver #160, and Past Master of Enlightenment Lodge #198 in 2012 and 2013. WB Dunn is a 33° Inspector General Honorary in the Scottish Rite, Past Secretary of the Colorado Springs Masonic Bodies, and served as the Director of the Degrees and Reunion General for the Southern Colorado Consistory from 2007-2013. He has served the Colorado Springs York Rite Bodies as King (Chapter), Deputy Master (Council), and Generalissimo (Commandery), and received honor of Knight Ish Sodi (Grand Council Cryptic Masons of Colorado) in 2013. WB Dunn is a Frater of the Colorado College of the SRICF. He has been a student of the esoteric mysteries for numerous years. His primary areas of study and research are Hermetic philosophy, Kabbalah, Alchemy, Gnosticism, and Esoteric Christianity. He often travels to Lodges and provides education presentations on Freemasonry and other esoteric subjects. 

      MWB Ray Dunn served as the Grand Master of Masons for Colorado in 2022. 

Worshipful Brother G. Cliff Porter 

2010-2011

Worshipful Brother Cliff Porter is a founding member and Past Master of Enlightenment Lodge 198 in Colorado where he works as a homicide detective. Cliff Porter is also recognized nationally for his work in teaching and presenting on the areas of subconscious communications as it relates to personal interactions and communications. He has worked cases gaining international attention, been featured by the Biography Channel, and has lectured Internationally for the United States government and military, state and local law enforcement, private corporations, churches, and spiritual centers. He has had published a number of writings and is the author of the books The Secret Psychology of Freemasonry: Alchemy, Gnosis and the Science of the Craft, Masonic Baptism: A Postmodern Ritual for an Ancient Craft, and 10 Easy Steps to Being a Heretic. 

Most Worshipful Brother Karl J. Hinkle 

2008-2009

A native of Waco, Texas, Most Worshipful Brother Karl Hinkle grew up in Colorado Springs. MWB Karl began his Masonic journey in 1992 while living in Omaha, Nebraska, and continued following his return to Colorado Springs. He is a Past Master of El Paso Lodge #13.

MWB Karl was the charter Worshipful Master of Enlightenment Lodge #198, serving our Lodge while it operated under dispensation in 2007, and through our first two years under charter during 2008 and 2009. He also holds plural membership in Blackhawk Lodge #11 and is an associate member in the Lodge of Living Stones #4957 in Leeds, England. MWB Karl has been honored to be coroneted a 33rd degree, Inspector General Honorary in the Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction and he currently serves as the Deputy of the Supreme Council for Colorado. MWB Karl has received the designation of KYCH in the York Rite, is a past Most Excellent Grand High Priest of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons for Colorado and he is a member of Al Kaly Shrine and has been admitted to numerous invitational Masonic bodies.
