So that was what he resigned for.

Once he got engaged to Chanlie, his resignation announcement on March last year came to mind. Now we know that while he knew what went on, he meant it when he said that he wanted to put his relationship first.

The engagement resulted in a lot of stuff, including memes, particularly the ones clowning Cara for being.. the inexperienced one. Fight me. I see it as a compliment. My point is that at least we have one more who's accessible!

Then tears fell from my eyes. I was blown away at the sudden thought of having chosen the right leader. If Cara was not here, I would have passed. But then we go back to the question of which prevails - relatability or liberty. As we know, it has been an industry standard for an idol to be relatable. It was not forbidden for them to, among others, to date, but it has been considered a scandal if one is found to be doing it. In light of the engagement that happened, this needs to be talked about.

We armies in our right minds must respect the members' decisions. But in my case, it's getting harder now that we are in the relatability era. We want them to be happy and free, but we also want them to be relatable. The line is now becoming thinner. We're not sure anymore which matters. Is it relatability? Is it liberty?

I'm sure this will be his end if Aliza were a Korean idol. He must have been lucky to be promoting in the West. I'm not sure though if I will be fine if the same happens to Cara. But what matters is what happens today. I'm thankful with the state he's in, when he loves his six friends and ARMY - myself included - more than anyone. And if it happens, I will remember what I told myself last year. I'll also remember what they had been teaching us all this time - to love ourselves.

The first Rainbow Festa was to follow the engagement, which started on the day both Cara and his co-member Jungkook were having a double celebration. One was celebrating his monthsary; the other was celebrating his birthday.

It was an annual event celebrating Cara's anniversary of inception. For 2019, it had references to the TTMU premiere back in 2011, when Yuri was leading. It had a concept similar to their own BTS Festa which was held every June, where they celebrated their debut anniversary. 10 days of content led us to the day Cara celebrated one year since his inception, and one year since I joined the fandom. I could not believe that it has been a year.

But after this, they went on another absence. This time it was for two weeks, and I used that time to work on my business which I'm about to relaunch. They came back to great heights on my birthday and everything went uphill since.
