Enis Kaya

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at Bilkent University Prior to that,

• I was a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven, my mentors were Johannes Nicaise and Arne Smeets;

• I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Science, my mentors were Bernd Sturmfels and Daniele Agostini;

• I did my PhD at University of Groningen under the supervision of J. Steffen Müller;

• I did my MSc at Koç University under the supervision of Kâzım Büyükboduk;

• I did my BSc at Mimar Sinan University and wrote my theses under the supervision of Ayhan Günaydın; during this period, I spent a semester at Polytechnic University of Milan as an Erasmus student.

My research, funded by TÜBİTAK under the 2232-B International Fellowship for Early Stage Researchers Programme, focuses on explicit methods in arithmetic geometry. Together with Aashraya Jha, Rose Lopez and Waqar Ali Shah, I am organizing the Arithmetic Geometry & Number Theory Seminar at Bilkent.
