Installation Notes

Installing eNikshepa DMS software On-Premises as well as on Cloud is a breeze. Please ensure that minimum system requirements are met before proceeding with the installation.

Please follow the installation steps carefully to successfully install the eNikshepa DMS.

1. Click on any specified download links on this Website to auto-download the eNikshepa DMS application directly.
2. If you have downloaded using the Google Chrome Web browser, the downloaded application is available in the Archived or Zipped format named as eNikshepa.Rar (82.3 MB size approx.) under the 'chrome://downloads/' folder or on your Downloads folder on your local system.
3. Right-Click on the eNikshepa.Rar file and extract the files to a folder of your choice on your system.
4. Once you extract all the requisite files to a specified folder, double-click the ‘eNikshepa.exe’ to run the application.
5. A command prompt dialog window appears prompting you to agree with your license details (Yes/No). Click Yes & hit the Enter key.
6. Key in the Admin User Name , Admin Email Id & Admin Password & hit the Enter key.
7. Note down the path to access the application. Copy & paste this URL on your web browser to launch the application.

Note:

Please ensure that you do not close this window when the application is running. It should be open at all times when you using the application.

8. After launching your eNikshepa DMS application, Sign in to the application by keying the requisite User Name & Password information.

9. After a successful Signing into the application, the Change Password dialog box appears prompting you enter the New Password and confirming the same. Follow the Password change or instructions carefully on this dialog box

10. Click Change. The Password changed successful message appears. Re-Sign in to the application again.

If you wish to get the best out of eNikshepa DMS, it needs to be configured soon after its successful installation.

You may need to make the following few configuration tweaks to get the most out of eNikshepa DMS.

eNikshepa Installation Folder Structure:

In order to extract the content from the file(s) available in the eNikshepa DMS,

• Navigate to the 3rd party plugins folder. Ensure that all the files available inside within this folder are moved to System32 folder on your local system. (C:\Windows\System32)

In order to configure the more secure version of https for the eNikshepa DMS,

• You need to move the files "server-key.pem" and "server-crt.crt" from the certificate publisher's folder into the certificate folder available in the eNikshepa DMS Installation path.

A predefined e-mail template is available already in the template folder. If you wish to have any new & customized e-mail template, then you need to update the existing e-mail template available.

The application configuration file is maintained in the public\config folder.

The application's UI configuration settings are maintained in the client\configurations folder.

Last but not the least, the licence folder is used to store the application's license file (up to 5 users). If you have more than 5 users using the application, then you need to send an email to sales.eNikshepa@gmail.com requesting for the server license file.
