Dr Shymasree Basu (ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR) has joined the College in 2015.Her areas of interest include American Literature,Gender studies and narratology.(Profile)

Dr Debalina Banerjee (ASSISTANT PROFESSOR) has been a part of the department since 2006.Her areas of interest include Indian Women writers and Gender Studies.

Mr.Debashish Bhattacharya (ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR) is the current HoD of the Department.He has been a member of the faculty since 1999.His area of interest is Modernist Literature.

Ms Pritha Banerjee(ASSISTANT PROFESSOR)has joined the department in 2019. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D from Jadavpur University. Her areas of interest are Children's Literature, Gender studies and the Environmental Humanities.

The Department hires Guest Lecturers from time to time as per the needs of the students.
