We live on the prairie near Peoria, Illinois. Our adventures require trailering boats to distant waters. Our challenge is having vacations unstructured enough to leave room for discovery, yet meeting the schedule constraints of school and corporate jobs. We found a balance of work vs. fun so family vacations have a good outcome. We purchase old boats and refurbish them so they are extremely reliable, then keep them well maintained so they last a long time.

Significant discussion about cruising boat trailering is provided. Everything shown was tried and found effective for our family.
