Talk to Your Partner
Watch Jenny and Jim's vlog and find out the name of the singer´s teacher. Also, find out how Jim annoys Jenny and how she annoys him at the end.
Annoy means to bother someone or make them a little upset, usually by doing something they don’t like.
For example:
If your little brother keeps poking you while you’re trying to read, he’s annoying you.
A buzzing fly that won’t go away can be really annoying too.
Write a short review (about 6–8 sentences). Include these parts:
Introduction – Say what the concert was.
Example: Last Friday I went to a pop concert.
Who performed – Say who was singing or playing.
Example: The band was called The Tigers.
Describe the music and show – Was it loud, soft, fun, exciting?
Example: The music was very exciting. The lights were colorful.
Your feelings – How did you feel during the concert?
Example: I felt very happy and I danced a lot.
Your opinion – What do you think overall?
Example: I think it was the best concert ever.
Write in the past tense – because the concert already happened.
Example: The singer sang very well.
Use short, clear sentences.
Example: The music was loud. The lights were beautiful.
Talk about your feelings.
Example: I felt excited. I liked the guitar.
Use adjectives (describing words).
Words like amazing, boring, loud, quiet, fun, beautiful.
Remember to give your opinion.
Example: I think the concert was fantastic.

Grammar: adjectives with prepositions
Some adjectives are followed by prepositions. The preposition is followed by a noun, an infinitive or a gerund, but, there is no rule that says which combination to use.
Find Someone Who… (Speaking Game)
Prepare a worksheet with prompts:
Find someone who likes pop music.
Find someone who went to a concert.
Find someone who likes to sing.
Students walk around, ask questions like: Do you like pop music? Did you go to a concert? and write names.
Interview a Friend (Pair Work)
Give students questions to ask each other, like:
What music do you like?
Who is your favorite singer?
Have you ever been to a concert?
How do you feel at concerts?
Then, each student introduces their partner: This is Maria. She likes rock music. Her favorite singer is…
Role Play: Mini-Concert Review
One student pretends they went to a concert. The partner asks questions:
What was the concert?
Who sang?
Was it good?
How did you feel?
Students then swap roles.
Give students prompts:
Find someone who is good at drawing.
Find someone who is afraid of snakes.
Find someone who is interested in football.
Find someone who is excited about the weekend.
👉 Students walk around asking: Are you good at drawing?
👉 They write names in the table.
In pairs, students interview each other using prompts:
