View Professional Development Funds
Select the Fiscal Year and hit submit
CODAA members get $500 a year.
Login to Inside COD and find the “Forms” Section (bottom right corner)
Then search for the “Professional Development for CODAA” form
Fill out the “Professional Development for CODAA” form and submit to Cathie Walker (contact information is on our Who to Ask page)
Cathie Walker will forward the form for Dean's approval
Wait for approval and follow-up directions
After approval, you can register/enroll/purchase and will receive reimbursement for approved funds
Contact the Chairs or OAFS (Office of Adjunct Faculty Support) to discuss the possibility of additional funding. Find contact information on our Who to Ask page.
Per the contract “Professional Development funds are to be used for reimbursement of tuition, fees, conference registrations, seminars, travel for out-of-town conferences and seminars pursuant to COD travel policies, membership dues, appropriate academic periodicals/subscriptions, books, or one-half the costs for professional licenses that are required or recommended in the official hiring Guidelines.”
“In addition, the College will allow up to one-hundred dollars ($100) of a faculty member’s Professional Development funds to be used for reimbursement of annual fees for employee membership at the Chaparral Fitness Center (currently two hundred forty dollars - $240).”
Contact Jenn Kelley (kelleyj@cod.edu), one of the Department Chairs, or the Office of Adjunct Faculty Support to discuss opportunities to create and host a PD event.
Check Cornerstone Calendar of Events regularly (log into InsideCOD and find Cornerstone under “Work Tools”)
Keep up on COD email announcements, particularly from Department Chairs
FPD at COD are weekly emails distributed by Jenn Kelley and contain PD opportunities on and off campus
