Ronith Reddy and Matewos Ghebremicael, the co-founders of Engineering Minds in Motion (EM in M), have been friends since elementary school, where they first met on the same robotics team. Their shared passion for robotics and the science of building has driven them ever since. As they transitioned into high school, their determination to become future engineers only grew stronger. Their experience on a highly competitive FRC team deepened their love for robotics and solidified their career aspirations.
However, as they explored different engineering disciplines, they found it increasingly difficult to navigate the vast amount of information available and to identify which schools excelled in specific fields. It was a tedious and overwhelming process. They soon realized that there was no resource at their school to help students like them gain clarity on these topics.
Driven by this need, Ronith and Matewos decided to create a club that would provide a space for students to explore the field of engineering, learn about the various disciplines, and collaborate with like-minded peers to bring ideas to life. Thus, Engineering Minds in Motion was born, with the mission to guide aspiring engineers on their journey and inspire innovation.
