The Lowry Theatre, Salford Quays
We'll have a drinks reception at the Promenade at 6:30pm on arrival, and then move to Compass Room for a 3-course dinner and awards presentations.
When you arrive, please make sure you tell the concierge you are with the Engineering Excellence Awards Dinner event. They will show you to an escalator that will take you directly to the Promenade.

The Lowry is located on the waterfront in MediacityUK. In easy reach from Manchester City Centre either via bus or tram with parking available in the Quayside. The building is fully accessible with step free access, lifts enabling to all floors and accessible toilets throughout. You can find us at Pier 8, The Quays, Salford, M50 3AZ.
Public Transport
We encourage visitors to The Lowry to use public transport as part of our goal to improve sustainability
By Tram – Use the Eccles line and the MediaCityUK line. Visit Metrolink’s website or call them on 0161 205 2000.
By Bike – For information on cycle routes from Manchester to Salford Quays visit TfGM cycling district maps.
By Bus – Check bus routes and timetables with TfGM at tfgm.com or call 0161 205 2000 before you travel.
By Train – For the latest train timetables, visit: TransPennine Express | Northern.
Parking
The Lowry does not have its own car park however parking is available at the Quayside multi-storey car park (formally Lowry Outlet).
Blue Badge Holders: Spaces are in the Quayside MediaCityUK car park. The Lowry also offers two Blue Badge parking spaces available on a first come first served basis. They cannot be booked in advance and we accept no responsibility for vehicles parked in these spaces.

We are continuously working to make our building and performances accessible for all.
Accessible toilets
There are accessible toilets available throughout the building, with a Changing Places toilet on the ground floor.
Wheelchair and physical access
We have step-free access to our box office, toilets, performance spaces and galleries from the street. On our ground floor is a lowered box office counter for wheelchair users. Please note that our ground floor features a slight incline. There are lifts that enable access to all floors and with accessible toilets on each floor. There are wheelchair spaces in all three theatres, and if you have any specific seating requirements our box office will always do their best to accommodate your ne

Holiday Inn MediaCityUK is situated in the heart of Salford Quays MediaCityUK, with easy access to Old Trafford Stadium and the Manchester City Centre.
Standard Double Bedrooms offer the rate of ~£115.00 inclusive of Full Buffet Breakfast, Complimentary Access to the Mini Gym, WIFI and VAT, reduced from ~£134.00.
