The senior students will introduce their club activities to help new students have a fulfilling high school experience!
Comment: All clubs will prepare for this event to welcome the fresh EHS students! Not every 2nd / 3rd graders can see the shows though (possibly because of the covid), it'll be a lot of fun!
The biggest event of Engaru High School. Not only will there be classroom exhibits and stage presentations, but the students will also take part in the Engaru Town event, "Sennin Odori", and it will be a hot and exciting event!
Comment: This is the best event I've ever had in my life. There are lots of classroom exhibitions and stage plays, and there're even some shops too! The festival starts from some weeks before the day: we discuss what to do to get an award, and we have some days off to get ready for and enjoy the festival!
The students will compete in various events, such as volleyball, soccer, and more!
Comment: The festival will take place in 2 days in fall. On the first day, we have some ball games like soccer, and on the second day, we do other stuff like the relay races and exciting “Tussle” Tug-of-War (Pictured above) !
A Traditional Event of Engaru High School! The students try their best to reach the goal while fighting against themselves.
Comment: We run in the mountains surrounding Engaru Town. It is a hard path for sure, but the emotion you can feel when completed is so special!
Students will learn about Japanese history, plan and conduct their own studies, and have other experiences that they would not normally get the opportunity to have!
Comment: The 2nd graders will go on the school trip in fall. This year, 2022, we went to the Kansai district, visiting some famous temples, the Universal Studios Japan, etc. We had a lot to learn and enjoy! The school trip will surely be your most memorable event in EHS.
Stay overnight and immerse yourself in your studies with other students who share the same goals as you!
Comment: This event is not held these years probably because of the covid and we could only find the picture of Engaru Todai Juku (See About - Studies to learn more) instead. To be honest, I don't know what we will do either, however it sure sounds fun.
