The English Department successfully hosted the 5th edition of the International Conference on Literature, Linguistics, and Translation (ICOLLT 2025).
This prestigious event was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abidin (University President), Prof. Dr. Amany Osama Kamel (Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research), Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad (Dean of the Faculty), Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia (Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fayrouz Fouad Ibrahim (Head of the English Department). ICOLLT 2025 was chaired by Prof. Dr. Fadwa Kamal Abdel Rahman.

The three-day event brought together 73 participating researchers from across the globe, including international scholars from Iraq, Jordan, and Hong Kong. In line with the department's commitment to nurturing emerging talent, ICOLLT 2025 also proudly showcased the outstanding research of five exceptional fourth-year undergraduate students.
