Stimulants

Stimulants are a class of drugs that raise the heart rate and speed up messages between the brain and the body. In other words, it increases the activity in the central nervous system. In large doses, stimulants can cause overstimulation like anxiety, headaches, panic, aggression and paranoia. Some of the most well known stimulants include caffeine, nicotine and cocaine.
