The 2MC&L will receive abstracts discussing topics related to cognition and language, including but not limited to, intentionality, mental representations, embodied cognition, enactive cognition, memory, social cognition, the role of dynamic and complex systems in cognition and language , and the relations between thought and language, perception and language, language and action. Works that engage with recent literature, whether philosophical or empirical, are especially welcome.
1- Modality: On site presentations in Portuguese or English.
2- Document to be submitted: Extended abstract in PDF file prepared for blind review (omiting identifying information). The file must contain:
i) Title
ii) Extended abstract (from 500 to 700 words) written in the language of the presentation (Portuguese or English) highlighting the goals of the presentation and the points that will be defended.
iii) References

4 - Selection criteria:
i) Compliance with the submission instructions;
ii) Clarity, cohesion, and orthographic and grammatical correction of the abstract;
iii) Suitability of the content of the work to the theme of the 2eC&L;
iv) Relevance and originality of the work.
5 - Announcement of the selected abstracts:
From August 11, 2019, by email.
Authors of selected papers must confirm participation until September 4, 2019.
6- Scientific publication: Authors of papers presented may be invited to submit their complete papers for evaluation and possible publication in a scientific journal or in a book/collection (to be defined).
