The overall goal of these programs and opportunities will be to engage and support youth by leveraging community stakeholders and resources to invest in programs, people, and places within the youth-focused organizations and the community. This provides a framework for stakeholders to serve and meet the desired need of youth and youth-focused organizations and their ancillary entities with the intention of diminishing destructive behaviors, increasing measured success, and enabling everyone to thrive.
It is extremely important for organizations to be realistic and to have practical goals and work for people to do. It is also important that partners don’t begin a work they are not able or willing to continue. Project EASY is developed in a way for people to see what is doable for everyone involved. We often think supporting the next generation is hard, but it is actually easier than we think. The key is having wide-scale buy in and commitment. Everyone and every organization can do something to engage and support youth. It can be done in a way that integrates partnership into common goals and already established norms.
Do you know of a community organization which could be a great partner for local churches? Share their information by completing this form! Submitting the form does not guarantee that the organization will be promoted or that partnerships will occur. Our hope is to establish a directory of offerings so churches, individuals, and communities can engage with one another!
