Wheel demonstrating the average human population with magic.
Souls Abilities
Patience: Wizards with the soul of Patience are usually very agile in battle, making it a bit difficult to hit them. But Patience wizards are not the strongest and can easily be defeated by a few hits. There have been rumors of rare individuals with this trait who were able to slow down time, although it is not a confirmed ability. Patience wizards are often seen fighting with either a single knife or double knives. It is one of the most uncommon traits.
Bravery: They are very powerful compared to other wizards. The only default about them is that they can barely defend themselves due to them not being able to summon weapons. Bravery wizards are often seen fighting either hand to hand combat or with explosive pellets.
Integrity: They can jump extremely high compared to other wizards. They are also known to have fast reflexes. Some are able to manipulate gravity related attacks, but those are extremely rare. Integrity wizards are often seen fighting with light swords, such as a rapier or a dagger. It is the most common trait.
Perseverance: They are very powerful, but not powerful with physical strength, but powerful with weapon strength. There have been cases in which some Perseverance humans were able to use cables. Perseverance wizards are often seen either fighting with heavy weapons such as a battle hammer or an ax, or carrying a shield.
Kindness: Out of all of the wizards, only Kindness wizards can truly master healing magic. They can also create very powerful shields to protect themselves or others. The more heavy the shield, the more magic there is in the inside and the more durable it is. Some have been able to master their healing magic to the point that they’re able to self-heal unconsciously. It is one of the most uncommon traits.
Justice: Out of all of the wizards, only they can properly aim. They are mostly known to reach upper ranks due to their strong sense of Justice. Justice wizards are often seen fighting with neither a spear or sometimes a bow and arrows.
Determination: There can only be one Determination wizard at the time. Determination wizards are physically and mentally stronger than any other wizards. Their attacks and defense are extremely high which makes them very difficult to defeat. Determination wizards were seen fighting with neither a sword and a shield, or a large knife. It is the rarest trait.
Dual-Trait: Wizards with two or more traits are extremely rare. They specialize on whichever traits they have. Sometimes the type of magic between the traits can merge and create new attacks and weapons, the possibilities are limitless.
Traitless: Those born without a trait. They aren’t common, but they aren’t rare either. Those who don’t possess a trait are unable to practice magic and often use magic tools to adapt themselves with those with traits. Their souls appear gray and their eyes brown. They are often looked down upon by others who have traits.
Empathy: Empathy is not a powerful trait. In fact, it’s one of the weakest. However, it is the trait with the highest agility as someone possessing that trait can move extremely fast. Some say Empathy users are extremely fast to the point that it would look like teleportation.
Empathy users use a thin sword in battle.
Due to its kind nature, Empathy users can also use healing magic.
An individual with Empathy gives off a comfortable feeling towards other people. In other words, people around them feel more relaxed and more ‘pure’ around them. The effect doesn’t last if the user is unstable. That phenomenon is often referred to as the ‘Empathy Effect’.
Half-Soul: Those born with only half of a soul. Those who are born with only half a trait are just like regular treated humans, only that their magic power isn't as powerful. They are often looked down upon by others and humans possessing this kind of soul are extremely rare.
Magic Energy
- The weapon is NOT the soul. In order for the magic weapon to be summoned, the user must pull out a certain amount out of magic out their soul to create and shape the weapon. Once the weapon vanishes, the magic used to create the weapon returns to the soul. Basically, summoning weapons doesn't make the user run out of magic.
- Creating magic weapons does not reduce the magic energy. The only time that magic IS reduces is when spells are used such as healing, magic pellets, projectiles, etc.
- The bigger or durable the weapon is, the more magic is used to create them, and the more weapons they summon, the more limited they are using spells as not much magic is left within the soul. Also, the more magic, the heavier the weapon is.
- As the magic weapons are directly connected to the soul, if the magic were to break, the user will feel pain. Then again, if a weapon has a high amount magic within them, if it were to break, the pain will be much worse. In some cases, the pain could last for hours or even days and the intensity varies. Most magic users use an average amount of magic in their weapons, so the pain inflicted on them isn't unbearable and sometimes harmless.
- When a user runs low on magic energy, they will be extremely tired and potentially pass out. In more severe cases, some users might even be out cold for days or even weeks. With time, the magic will regenerate, but it can take a while for it to fully recover. Some have much more magic energy than others, those who are most commonly known for having that amount of magic energy are dual-trait users.
Monster Souls
Monster Souls: Monster souls are completely different from human souls. Their magic is not separated by traits, but by species. Monster souls can absorb human souls, but not the other way around. But that has never been done before.
BOSS Monster Souls: BOSS Monster Souls are the same as normal Monster Souls, but stronger. Unlike normal monsters in which their soul vanishes with their body when dying, BOSS Monster Souls can last a few seconds after the owner has died.
