Akai Harru is the main protagonist and a part of the main group of survivors throughout the series. He possesses a special type of soul called Empathy, which its true powers are still in question. He and his friends are traveling from Emon to Lans in hopes to find shelter at a monster lookout camp from the war taking place.

Sword Summoning: Akai can summon himself a sword to fight his enemies with. But for some reason, Akai mostly holds his sword backwards. Speed: Akai’s main advantage is speed & Agility. Although, his attacks aren’t very powerful, but his attacks and movements are extremely fast. Some people thinks he even teleports. Healing: Akai can use healing magic. Is isn’t as strong as a Kindness wizard’s, but it can still heal minor injuries.

He hates when people call him ‘genderless’.
Akai has a strange phobia of shrimps.
Ray and Zero took Akai and Arron in for a few years when they were younger and just arrived in town.
Akai’s jacket was originally brown and belonged to his father.

Akai’s Soul was originally Justice, then changed to Inequity because of a spell used by Lloyd, then finally becoming Empathy because of a spell used by Amy.
