When I see people, they look all the same even if they have different facial features or hairstyles. However, patterns add personality. Patterns have their own unique character that add individuality to the individual I paint. I create these patterns based off the sounds and rhythms of various music genres. My favorite genre of music is Disco and Hip-Hop because the various beats in this genre can go on and on without getting tired similar to pattern design. I also enjoy classical music, City Pop, and Future Funk.
