My name is Ethan Moll and I love to paint and create collages. I like collage because there are no rules in making one! I also get the chance use about every medium available out there! My favorite medium to use when creating these paintings would have to be glazing medium. This medium does about everything for me such as thin colors, glue papers and fabric down, make surfaces shiny, I just love it! I like using paper too which is what I use in my collage work. I consider myself a "repurposer" because I re purpose fabric, paper, plastic bags, beads, metal, etc. I take what ever trash I can find and apply it to my work. What I hope to achieve with my work is to show the public the beauty in what we throw away and how we can re purpose our thrash into something that can last a life time to maybe eternity. I also have a love for pattern design. My favorite patterns come from Japan and Africa. The patterned portraits are a new collection I have just started in the past year. I am very excited to see where these paintings will take me!
