As an editor for the highlander, I'm constantly editing the writing and design of my peers. While I enjoy helping others successfully make a well written and designed spread it doesn't come without its challenges. The communication aspect of editing always came more difficult to me. If an article needed drastic change I had a difficult time telling the writer in fear of hurting their feelings. However, throughout the school year of editing countless articles, my communication has greatly improved.
